In celebration of the first day of summer, it is time to reflect and set some goals for the next few months. Things have been pretty crazy around ScoutDog Studios with lots of events to plan for as well as some orders to fill. It has been a little overwhelming at times and I've found that when I feel that way it is a good time to set some goals ... (let's see if I can follow my own advice for once).

1. Simplify. Don't have to be everything to everyone.

2. Focus. Make a daily list. You can't do everything in one day. Just take one task at a time and enjoy the challenge.

3. Organize studio.

4. Design print catalog and website. Send out info to new stores, reps and licensing agents.

5. Finish book proposal.

6. Design new products. Stick to one creative day a week to just play and explore new ideas.

Enjoy the first day of summer. Hopefully by the first day of fall I will have some great news to report that I stuck to my goals!
