Row Row Row Your Boat .... We enjoyed a nice trip about the Lake in Central Park.

Matt gets artistic in taking a photo of the Statue of Liberty ... He says if you look closely you can see into my soul.

Just a quick posting to let you know that we are back from New York City and the National Stationery Show. There will be much more info and photos coming soon but right now I'm crazy busy trying to organize the studio and update the website so that I can finish up orders and paintings ... and then get moving on some of the new, exciting opportunties that are the result of the show.

And in addition to meeting some great people at the show and getting some good feedback ... Matt and I had some fun adventures in New York City.

More to come soon ....

Well the big event is almost here and it has been a crazy few weeks trying to get ready. But we leave tomorrow for New York to exhibit at the National Stationery Show (Booth #7472) from Sunday-Wednesday. Then Matt and I are going to stay in New York a few extra days to vacation and try to relax.

I have a full report with some photos, illustrations and hopefully some fun, crazy stories when we get home.

Today I did another window painting at a bike shop in Englewood (just south of Denver) ... and is just a few doors down from Paw Prints where I did a window painting a few weeks ago. But surprise! Today's painting did not have one dog or cat in it and the people have eyes! Crazy.

It is interesting to explore the different paths your life can take ... I would have never even thought about doing window paintings. But actually it is quick fun and it is fun to paint outside. Also it was a nice break from the crazy madness of getting ready for the National Stationery Show.

Speaking of that ... it is now time to get back to work ... only one week to go until we leave for New York!

Big Weekend ... whew, i'm tired
This was a big weekend of fun events ...

1. Furry Scurry

A view from outside the booth at the Furry Scurry.

Luckily it stopped snowing and was a beautiful day for the Furry Scurry. ScoutDog made an appearance and we got to meet a lot of cute dogs and their people. ... Now this week will be busy getting the website updated to make it easier to get stuff with your dog featured.

2. The Feisty's Bride Bachelorette Party

Alex, Kat and Leigh.

The bride approves.

After the Furry Scurry it was on to Kat's bachelorette party ... and to add to the fun Alex flew in to enjoy the party ... and Katrina was obviously able to let her hair (... veil) down and have some fun.

3. IzzyCat Chills Out

Izzy looking for some tuna.

And to wrap up the weekend's excitement IzzyCat attempted to explore the fridge ... don't worry, she is safe and sound and napping on her pillow right now.

So the next few weeks will be very busy getting ready for the National Stationery Show in New York and finish up the commission orders. Fun stuff but just a lot of it ... just remember ... "Dogs Are Funny."
