I always protested thinking about the holidays until after Thanksgiving. But now that I'm in the business of designing holiday cards and gifts, I start thinking about it in January. Crazy.

So even though it is only Halloween, there is still time to order your holiday cards and customized holiday gifts ... from paintings to leash hooks to picture frames, jewelry and stocking stuffers.

Check out the shopping section for some ideas. The order deadlines for Holiday Cards is Nov. 15 and for Paintings, gifts, etc. is Dec. 1.

SCOUT-OBERFEST CELEBRATION

Thanks to all of you that stopped by to celebrate Scout-oberfest yesterday. It was a fun day of art, food and puppy fun. And there will definitely be a Second Annual Scout-oberfest next year. Here are some images of the studio from the event.

Scout-oberfest is almost here. This is just a quick reminder for you and your pooch that this Saturday is the ScoutDog Studios Open Studio. I hope that you and your furry friends will be able to stop by and celebrate Scout-oberfest, get a jump on your holiday shopping, eat some treats and meet Scout.

Also I know that not all of you can make the event in person but you can still participate virtually. So it all began back in the dark tunnels of the Campus Press at the University of Colorado at Boulder. A boy and a girl met and worked on the campus newspaper. Then they graduated and eventually both moved to California.

And they met again ...

And fell in love ... lived in Oakland ... got engaged in Hawaii ... and married in Boulder, Colorado.

And now ... 2 years later on October 11, 2004 ... Happy Anniversary Spanky. Love you and the answer again would be "Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!"

It has been busy, busy, busy at ScoutDog Studios, but I found a few moments to finally update the blog.

Today I was at a great doggy daycare and boarding facility ... Beds 'N' Biscuits. This is just an in-progress image (above). I'll be finishing it up on Monday.

Also I'm busy with some new paintings, getting orders out and planning the fun Scout-oberfest (and Happy Izzy-giving) event. I hope some of you can make it!
