Wheatens have arrived

ScoutDog has a new friend. After many, many requests for Wheatens, they are now here!! As with all of the breeds, every product can be ordered with Wheatens now.

Also there will be many additional dog breeds and cat breeds coming very soon as well as a redesign of the website with more info about all of the products.

Well I'm back from the show in Atlanta and still busy trying to get orders ready and shipped out ... working on licensing opportunities ... creating/designing new products ... and finishing up the catalog. The show was a little slow but I met some great people, learned a lot and found some new product opportunities. So overall it was a great experience though I will not try to be super woman and do the show all by myself again.

And just a quick sneak peek at some of the new designs. A lot of people at the Atlanta show requested more cat products ... so see the MultiCat Art Collage above but more designs are coming this week. Also in my research of cat breeds, I did learn that IzzyCat is very special ... more than we previously thought. She is a wild Ocicat. You can read more about the breed here and see a photo that looks exactly like IzzyCat.

Hey Y'all

Just a quick update on the highs and lows of the Gift Fair in Atlanta ...

Highs ... I was lucky enough to receive an additional 5 feet of booth space (see above). Now I never want to go back to a 10x10 foot booth. It did require a little bit of on the spot design changes but I think that it turned out well and allows for more people in the booth.

Lows ... Since I still feel that I have to bring everything with me on the plane instead of shipping ... my bags weigh about 70 pounds each and I have to cart them from the airport to the hotel to the convention center ... I am still a little sore but have a few more days to recover.

That's all for now. It is slow due to the football game this afternoon there is not much traffic. But hopefully tomorrow and Monday will pick up.

ScoutDog loves peaches

ScoutDog Studios is flying solo this week. I've traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to exhibit at The Gift Fair in Atlanta.

Today was a long day of traveling and lugging around two 70 lb suitcases but now I'm in my fancy, schmancy room at the Travelodge. So tomorrow is a long day of setting up the booth and then on to four days of the show (and missing Scout the Dog, Izzy the Cat, and Matt the Husband) back at home in Denver.
